This thesis investigates the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economic development of Laos, submitted to the National Economics University for a PhD degree. The study emphasizes the role of FDI in job creation, technology transfer, and contributing to GDP growth, particularly following significant economic reforms initiated in the 1980s. It also examines various factors influencing FDI, including the macroeconomic environment, infrastructure, and government policies, to understand their effects on development.
