(Dittman 2005), which we can see playing out with the catching up with the Joneses or utility
interdependence mentality that results in mindless spending as described by Lisa within the article. It
was clear in the transformation of the authors tone and argument from being sympatric to a more
candid tone, while depicting the logos form of argument, with a very stern under tone to readers who
are guilty of wasteful spending of money to match that of their peers, whose underline source of funds
in most cases are not publicised as the public show of their wealth. The author describes vividly the
picture of the foundation that one lives their lavish lifestyle on, that is not seen or understood by the
onlooker but many times the veil is present and the emotion of jealousy is ramped hence no logic is
seen and only emotion is felt.

The summer of 2015, I went on a deaf camp titled T.I. Deaf Camp. Short for Teen Insitue Deaf Camp.
Now because i m hard of hearing but I stand out as a deaf person, friends came naturally, almost as if
you was the hottest thing in Cosmo magazine. In other words myself and others was noticed instantly.
Now also I realized that we had some kids who was only partially deaf (not full deaf) and they had
hearing aids on and everything but also they didn t know American Sign Language, it was so different
and weird to work with them and during special events such as team basketball, volleyball or even
