We are not accidents; we are created for a reason. Loved and Valued – A masterpiece that reflects the skill and love of the artist. Since we are God’s creation, we have inherent worth that does not depend on our achievements or others' opinions. Equipped for Good Works – God has given us talents, gifts, and opportunities to fulfill His plan. We are made not just to exist, but to make a difference in the world.
• #5: Your Worth Is in God, Not the World Many teens struggle with identity, often measuring their value by fleeting things—likes, looks, social media, grades, popularity, achievements, or athletic ability. But these things do not define you. The truth is, you are God’s handiwork, His masterpiece—created with purpose and intentionality. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10 Your worth comes not from what you do or how you look, but from who you belong to—God. The world’s standards constantly shift, but God’s love for you never changes. You Are More Than… 🚫 Your social media likes 🚫 Your grades or achievements 🚫 Your appearance 🚫 Your popularity You Are… ✅ Loved (Romans 8:38-39) ✅ Chosen (1 Peter 2:9) ✅ Fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) ✅ Created for a purpose (Jeremiah 29:11) When you truly know whose you are, you stop chasing approval and start living in confidence. You are enough in Christ!
• #7: Who You Are in God’s Eyes 💛 Valued – Your self-worth comes from being created by God (Genesis 1:27). 💪 Confident – You don’t have to prove yourself; God has already chosen you (1 Peter 2:9). 🎯 Purposeful – Your life has meaning beyond worldly success (Jeremiah 29:11). When you build your identity on God’s truth, you gain a confidence that doesn’t fade—because who you are in Christ will never change. Stop chasing approval. Start living in confidence. You are loved, chosen, and created for a purpose! Many teens struggle with low self-esteem, the pressure to fit in, and questions about who they really are. Society often tells us our worth is based on: 🚫 Looks – “You have to be perfect to be accepted.” 🚫 Popularity – “The more followers you have, the more valuable you are.” 🚫 Achievements – “Success determines your worth.” But the truth is, these things will never define you. Your worth isn’t based on what you do or how others see you—it’s based on who God says you are. Breaking Free from the Struggle 🔹 Low Self-Esteem → Know You Are Loved “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalm 139:14 👉 God created you with value—just as you are. 🔹 Peer Pressure → Stand Confident in Christ “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2 👉 You don’t need to change who you are to be accepted—God already accepts you. 🔹 Identity Crisis → Find Your Purpose in God “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” – Ephesians 2:10 👉 You were created for a purpose beyond what the world offers.
