Chairperson's Message
National Council of Open Schooling Research Training (NCOSRT), ushers in an
ecosystem of opening opportunities for availing Secondary and Senior Secondary Level
Education for all those who, for reasons of employment or inaccessibility may have
been unable to continue their education. The added dimensions of skills and vocational
learning with learner flexibility and credit transfer in consonance with the New
Education Policy, make this initiative a specially attractive development.
I am sure this initiative of the Government of India to enable the strengthening of open
schooling and skills education will encourage many aspiring learners at the secondary
and senior secondary levels to pursue and realize their dreams of being equipped with
employable and vocational skills.
