Editor's Notes
- #3: Prints and drawings collection: 31 watercolours bequeathed to the Gallery by the art connoisseur and collector Henry Vaughan in 1900. The conditions of Vaughan’s will stipulate that the drawings should be: ‘exhibited to the public all at one time free of charge during the month of January.’ The conditions of Vaughan’s bequest are still adhered to today and as a result the works have retained their vibrant colour and remain in pristine condition.
