- 3. 3 Orchestrator Quick Tour Orchestrator enables you to manage all your attended and unattended robots, users and automation packages across the organization from one place. Folders and tenants make it easy to map your robots and automations to your organizational structure, with secure separation and granular control of permissions. Machines are connected via a secure key to Orchestrator. Robots can be provisioned and deprovisioned automatically to new users or machines if desired. Packages are automatically versioned when uploaded by allowed developers. Libraries manage available code classes developers can use. Users can be added manually or through Active Directory Integration. Customizable User Roles simplify Role-Based Access control for all capabilities by combining sets of granular permissions into reusable roles.
- 4. 4 Orchestrator Quick Tour Processes are specific versions of packages that can be deployed to one or more unattended robots or to one or more users of attended robots. UiPath robots run automations. Orchestrator gives you sophisticated control over automations on unattended robots, and securely manages provisioning/deprovisioning of appropriate automations to users’ attended robots Triggers remotely execute processes on unattended robots at specific times, or when the number of items added to a queue (e.g. invoices approved) exceeds a threshold. A queue is a container that holds an unlimited number of items. Items from queues are processed by automations, and predictive SLA’s can be set to alert if processing is at risk of exceeding a time threshold. Assets securely story data that can be used by authorized automations (e.g. credentials). Storage Buckets let developers store information in the file system or 3rd party clouds.
- 5. 5 Orchestrator Quick Tour Logs are created locally of every robot and automation action, then sent to Orchestrator from where they can be filtered, viewed and analyzed. Logging levels are configurable. Log data can also be streamed to popular BI tools for long-term storage and detailed analysis. Centralized, organization-wide monitoring of your entire robot workforce is built into UiPath Orchestrator. Built-in dashboards are available for robots, jobs (scheduled or executing processes) and queues: Dashboards are a powerful way to see real-time information on the status of your automation environment, or drill into a particular issue or area of interest. Queues includes a second dashboard dedicated to SLA performance and predictions. Robot and job monitoring is also available as filterable lists. Monitoring is ideal for compliance and technical troubleshooting, but UiPath RPA developers can also add customized logging events to automations to flag business process events in the Orchestrator log.
