Mayne Hall
Home of the first year Honors Community
Located in the center of campus, beside
the Library
Hosts monthly community service project
“Kneading Minds” in the building
Mayne Hall – Located in the middle of campus beside the library
across from the Campus Center. Mayne is home to 132 first year
Honors students and hosts the Kneading Minds program, a social-
enterprise where students and Honors faculty members bake bread in
the hall kitchen to benefit local food pantries.
Dunlap-King Hall – Located on the academic quad, beside Battelle Fine Arts and the McFadden/Schear
Science Center. Home to the Creativity & Culture and Open Space Communities for first year students.
Davis Hall – located by the Rike & Clements Centers and The Triad
(Garst, Scott and Engle Halls) located by the Rike Center are
popular halls for student-athletes and those in the Health &
Sports Sciences
Roommates choose how to decorate their rooms
Resident Assistants (upperclassmen students who live on each floor to assist first year residents)
are available to help students navigate living together
Residents are encouraged to discuss living together and sign a "roommate agreement" to help
manage potential conflicts
Almost 90% of residents reported compromising with another student while living on campus and
learning something new about themselves
