- 3. Introduction It is observed that when the civil society makes a response to the terrorist, extremist or inhumane activities, it is hardly reported or noted. #PakistanFightsBack is created to collect and collate those responses, that the mainstream or hot media doesn’t covers.
- 4. Project Summary People now a days are flooded with the reports of extremism and terrorism. But what they don't witness are the responses to all those atrocities. People are suffering from Breaking News Syndrome! PFB is a community based news gathering portal created to gather and disseminate the good news, the rational response, the democratic reply.
- 5. Problem Statement A good news isn’t considered a news at all.The negative, dramatized and bolstered reporting of atrocities and crime have created an illusion that Pakistan isn’t a developing state, it is painted as a fragile and failed state.

- 7. Innovation Element • Normally such projects rely on an email system and rely completely on an Web Admin • We have a very systematic logging system • Which just need authorization, thus streamlining the process.
- 8. Hurdles Faced • Outreach, reaching out people and organizations. • Some activists or organizations have speculations that their data would be misused. • If a certain organization agrees to log their data than the other organization being egotistical would avoid our service.
- 9. Future Plans • A wiki, a news portal, citizen journalism based magazine, these all are future possibilities. • This project doesn't needs much financial input. • What it really needs is commitment.
