   I createda Power Point Presentation covering what Palliative Medicine is, what a Palliative Medicine consult looks like, and what Palliative Medicine in our organization looks like.  Selected this projected to bring awareness about Palliative Medicine, and what it looks like in our organization.

   Researched PalliativeMedicine around the nation  Compare it to my experience at MCR  Consult with my preceptor about problems he encounters and what I can cover for this project to help him out.  Create power point presentation.

   I presentedto the Float Pool Unit Practice Council for Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies.  This is a great audience because these nurses work at many of the floors on both hospitals, and we therefore have widespread influence.  The audience was receptive and had a variety of personal experiences with Palliative Medicine (all positive!)

   My presentationis quick and easy to read, it can be altered to serve as a quick tool to share with many different people and bring awareness to the palliative medicine service, specifically, to help define palliative medicine and how it can serve our patients.
