What has self-care been looking like for you these days? #Movies4MentalHealth ● make my bed ● journaling! ● working out to take a study break ● going on long walks ● Exercising! ● going for walks ● mindfulness ● daily yoga and mediation, doing my skincare routine ● journaling/ self-reflecting ● working out! ● painting my nails, making sure i shower, taking a minute to center myself ● play with my dog ● walking the dogs ● Sleeping ● resting when i need it! ● running ● Taking a few minutes for myself. ● Excersize ● Writing Music ● Going to bed earlier ● Yoga ● Meal prep and reading at least 30 mins a day before bed. Turning off my phone ● Honestly, Video games ● Going to the gym, reading, spending time with my dog! ● writing ● Working out and making dinner! ● meditation and doing my overdue assignments ● Exercise / yoga ● walking my dog even if its for 2 mins. listening to music. ● taking a bath ● Going for a drive ● cooking ● watching movies i enjoy ● meditation ● Reading and listening to audiobooks! ● effort in my outfits ● Sitting outside. Play with my cats and dog. Giving my bunny a bath. Reading ● Reading ● lifting ● drawing while sitting in the sunlight ● watching tv! ● Minecraft with Tim Tierney ● walking and reading painting, listening to music, working out ● A Promised Land by President Barack Obama is fantastic so far! :)

In just a few words, please share: How have you experienced the concept of "mental health" within your own cultural communities? ● taboo ● lazy ● It's swept under the rug in hispanic culture ● its something to be ashamed of ● perceived as a weakness ● weird ● "you can get over it" ● Something you'll grow out of ● not looked as debilitating ● not real, just drama ● something i can turn on and off ● not a real concern ● something to hide/ not tell others ● "everyone goes through it" ● Being shamed and told that i need to grow up. That im being dramatic. How did you feel? #Movies4MentalHealth ● Heavy Chest ● in my throat ● i loved how she used the pills as a part of her painting ● hopeful ● Anxious during, hopeful at end ● Hopeful by the end ● overwhelming heaviness in my throat and chest ● as a person in recovery, it seems like she went through phases of her pain and found a way to express them. I love that ● The ending is very suddenly for me ● I am very very impressed by the cinematography, and it made all of the above feelings to come out much more
