separation of two miscible solvents. Through column chromatography, a mixture of nonpolar fluorine
and polar fluorenone was successfully separated. Thin layer chromatography was then used in order to
determine the success of the separation based upon the calculated Rf values, which if the Rf value fell
below zero or was above one, then the separation was not successful.
Introduction: Methods used to separate miscible solvents include thin layer chromatography (TLC) as
well as column chromatography. A method used to separate a mixture of miscible solvents is column
chromatography, which is used to purify and separate compounds. The particular speed of the solvents

This article highlights the experience of a 46 year old woman with obsessive compulsive disorder, and
how adding cognitive behavioral therapy to her treatment benefits her. Obsessive compulsive disorder
is a disorder which affects approximately 2 to 3 percent of the population (Salkovskis, 2007) (Taylor
Reeder, 2015). Cognitive behavioral therapy is a method of treatment recommended by the National
Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, with the results proving to be effective ( Abramowitz,
Foa, Franklin, 2003; Anderson Rees, 2007; Department of Health, 2001; NICE, 2006; Storch et al.,
2008) (Taylor Reeder, 2015). Likewise, group cognitive behavioral therapy is a proven effective
treatment for OCD, with similar results shown from individual cognitive behavioral therapy
(Hougaard, 2009) (Anderson Rees, 2007) (Taylor Reeder, 2015).
The participant completed a questionnaire prior to treatment, and then again upon commencement of
treatment (Taylor Reeder, 2015). Ultimately she completed a total of 18 hours of therapy over the

scaffolds have a major role to play in such situations. Scaffolds, a porous cross linked structure aims at
the regeneration of the damaged tissue by supporting the cells mechanically while not altering the
normal functioning of the cell and the individual as whole. Scaffolds are generally made of synthetic
biocompatible polymers. But such scaffolds are generally expensive and may take longer time to
decompose inside our body. So we looked for autologous biomaterials which have the desirable
properties and can be used in place of the polymers. The autologous biomaterials will also be cheaper
and decompose faster compared to the polymers. In this report, I have mentioned three such
autologous biomaterials; albumin, collagen and B.mori silk fibroins, which are easily available and
possesses the desired properties to manufacture scaffolds from them. I manufactured scaffolds by the

on, strange events occur during Felipe s time there with the story concluding that Aura is the
embodiment of Consuelo s young past life. Fuentes uses imagery throughout the story which makes
easier for the reader to have a better understanding of it. The images used give the reader
understanding of what is going on, reveals each character s identity, and what emotions they may feel

construction plans near Disneyland are scheduled to be built. The new hotels will impact an already
crowded area and increase the traffic. The main reason for the new hotels is to attract more tourists,
ultimately gaining profit off of them. The city of Anaheim should not allow new hotels near
Disneyland to be built. Instead, they can utilize the newly built transportation center to gain profit
