So, what is FOLK DANCE 
• the oldest form of 
dance and the earliest 
form of communication 
• the traditional dance of 
a given country which 
evolved naturally and 
spontaneously with 
everyday activities 
• e.g. occupations, 
customs, festivals, 
rituals
