- 2. The main title of the film is the main focus on the poster and is what draws viewers most. The main purpose of the title is to give an insight about the film. Also; the colour of the title can give away the genre of the film. In this poster the main colour is red; which is deceiving as red is very versatile so can mean many things. It could suggest danger, love or maybe even death. The colour can lead viewers to think whether or not the film has a darker side to it.
- 3. The central image is also another main aspect of the poster which usually includes the protagonist from the film- however; in this case, it has both of the characters. It’s quite deceiving because in this case you don’t actually know who is who; which again could intrigue the audience to find out more, The way in which the actors are shown on the front, again, could give an insight about what the film is going to be about; based on the body language, costume or if they are using any probs. If the movie poster has actors that people know, then it many entice the audience to find out more and to come and watch the film.
- 4. Colour representation is also another key feature of a poster. Within a poster, the colour plays an important role as it can give off the genre of the film and give off any meaning. In this poster, the key colour is red, which could mean things like danger, love or maybe even death. The fact the title is red is really eye- catching, and the crack down the middle is also red which can determine heart break, or even betrayal. However, based on the body language of the characters, it could also suggest danger. The fact the main characters are in black and white really puts the redness in main focus and highlights the main attraction. It also suggests a darker side.

Overall, I like how this poster looks as it reveals quite a lot about the film. it hides the identity of the characters (who is good and who isn’t), giving off the idea that this may be a thriller genre film. Having said that, the fact it’s a lady and man on the front cover with the colour red also suggests some sort of love story. Based on the year the film came out, and the colours used id think this film was mainly targeted at younger adults, both male and female due to both of the characters on the poster. The genre of this film is still slightly hidden, but if anything it gives off some sort of thriller based on the colour scheme and again, the body language.
