- 3. What did happen? Night from 25 th to 26 th of February… Khojaly city came under intensive fire from the surrounding Armenian occupation forces. Joint Armenian and armed forces of the ex-Soviet 366th regiment occupied the town. Under the extreme conditions, those that survived the siege moved into the darkness of night to be met at the middle of the route by an ambush of Armenian forces. Horrific Atrocities

- 9. Genocide in legal terms The international legal definition of the crime of genocide is found in Articles II and III of the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide. Article II describes two elements of the crime of genocide:
