  Difficulties with each genre Comedy Necessaryto make audience laugh, which is difficult Horror Build a narrative which builds an element of fear Romance The relationship has to be evident right at the beginning due to it only being a film opening Crime May have to use inappropriate props to portray this genre Western Difficult setting and props to obtain to portray the genre Thriller Must contain elements that make people jump therefore a lot of suspense may be built in a fast amount of time Sci-Fi Props are expensive and a lot of CGI is needed Action Action can contain violence which is hard to create in an amateur format

  Chosen Genre I havechosen to do the genre of horror as the element of fear can be built in an opening with the use of flashbacks/ flash forwards, violence is not needed and it can just be implied. Possible narratives for Horror: • Vampires • Serial killers • Killer dolls • Serial killer children • Cannibals
