The brothers Sahil and Ritik were arguing about who was smarter when their mother gave them a problem to solve to determine a winner. She presented a group of 6 people and asked the brothers to prove that within the group, there is always a subset of 3 people who are either all mutual friends on Facebook or all strangers with no connection. To solve this, one brother represented the relationships between the 6 people using a 3D cube, where each axis represented a person. He systematically eliminated positions on the cube that couldn't satisfy the criteria until he was left with layers showing there were 3 friends and 3 strangers within the group.

- 2. Puzzle • Sahil and Ritik are brothers. One day they were discussing who is smarter. But gradually the discussion turned into an argument. Mother came and tried to handle the situation. She gave them a problem to solve and the one who will solve the problem first, would be considered smarter than the other. The problem is • : In a group of 6 people, you might find some people are friends on Facebook, or you might find that no one is friend on Facebook. The brothers are supposed to prove that there is always a group of 3 people where either : • –All3 people are mutual friends on Facebook. • –All3 people are strangers (i.e, no one is friend on Facebook). • Can you help the brothers to reach to the solution ?

Solution using 3D Cube • Since we want to find pointes of three elements only, we can used xyz dimension • Each layer will be a name of one person , and we will find the relation of that person with the others. • We will find repetition points and position they must be delete . • When we find the 3 friends in each layer we can find the not 3 friends too.
