Disadvantages of Texting Texting on the phone while driving can be a very dangerous thing to do. As
someone looks at the phone and concentrates on the text messages, they will become distracted from
driving. Distracted drivers can cause car accidents and injuries or death to themselves or others.
Texting causes delayed reactions, which increase the chance of getting into an accident. According to
Cary Aspinwall, when texting while driving, drivers take their eyes off the road for 4.6 of 6 seconds. A

For more than 50 years since the Central and Southern Florida Project, major ventures have been
ongoing which have focused on the provision of fresh water for human development projects and
flood protection. In order to provide water for residential, commercial, and agricultural uses, the

Imagine living in a world with a dictator. You have numerous rules set in place where you can t do

hated Big Brother (the ruler of Oceania). He wanted everything about him to be gone, including his

Dante Alighieri was a major Italian poet of the Late Middle Ages, he was born into a family with a
complex involvement in the Florence political scene. In the Dante Alighieri s epic poem The Inferno,
Dante, the protagonist, witnesses the Circles of Hell, guided by Virgil the character representing
Human Reason. Alighieri shows compassion towards different sinners in Hell, which provides an

MEDIAAND WOMEN S SELF IMAGE This paper will discuss the view that the media generally
has a negative impact on the self image of women. The evidence to support this view has been
provided by the arguments of women writers and the findings of empirical studies over the years.
Media representations present an ideal for female appearance and behavior. Women, especially those
who are young and impressionable, accept this seemingly authoritative ideal and develop a negative

Do you think police officers should be armed if their job is to protect schools? Many will argue yes
because of safety reasons, but what if that leads to bigger problems? This has been a debate for years

Act or the zero tolerance policies. Although it protects students and can create a safe and secure
environment, police officers in schools should not be armed because it can create discrimination,

Lowe s Argumentative Essay
Thank you for taking the time to listen to my complaints and for performing a walk through at the
project site. As I mentioned during our phone conversation, on August 2014, Carmen Alfonso entered
into a contract with Lowe s to renovate two bathrooms at 14817 SW 175th Street, Miami, Florida
33187 Unfortunately, I m disappointed with how long it has taken Lowe s to complete the renovation
and furthermore all the setbacks encountered. The renovation commenced 2 years 6 months ago, four
different contract companies and there are still outstanding issues, including but not limited to a water
leak located in the small bathroom. On February 2015, shortly after the tiles were installed, brown

Unfortunately, the brown stain resurfaced two more times and remediated two more times. Obviously,
this issue was not the result of a chemical reaction as initially concluded by GC # 1 and 2, but
something more profound. When the fourth GC (Jerson) was onboarded to remediate the outstanding
issues, the brown stain issue was one of the items on the punch list. During the initial walk though,
Jerson removed the grout that had the brown stain and found evidence of water on the cement
underneath the tile. On January 3, 2017 the contractors removed the toilet and ripped out several floor
tiles with the intent of identifying water leak. Once the area was exposed the leak was not apparent
and therefore required a more in depth research according to the GC perhaps breaking the floor to
again access to the pipes thus, requiring Lowe s approval before proceeding. The GC informed me that
he would meet with Lowe s to propose his recommendations and that I should hear back from them in
the next couple of day. On January 9th, as I waited to hear back from Lowe s regarding the next steps
