Final Year Project Details: Monocular Colour Vision Based Path Tracking ‘Computer Vision’ describes a wide class of computer image analysis. This project is aimed at path tracking on the basis of vision. The vehicle is to move in a direction which is to be decided by the colour shown to it. It was decided that the vehicle should move forward on viewing the green colour, backward on blue, left on black and right on black. It was supposed to stop on viewing the red colour. The colours were chosen because they are the primary colours in the RGB colour model that was used. The project makes use of TRIPOD which is written to empower an easy-use, open-source software Template to rapidly program Real-time Image Processing algorithms. TRIPOD is a set MFC VC++ files (all source code and compiled files freely downloadable). A digital video camera (Logitech USB camera) is used for Developing robotic, machine, computer vision applications. The template consists of MFC VC++ source files for which you build your image-processing program on top of, as shown in the next figure. The template grabs a frame, gives a pointer to its pixel data and displays the image. You just simply add your code for the purpose of pixel processing.
