The SAP Simple Finance solution marked the first step in our SAP S/4HANA journey
for customers. The solution has demonstrated the value of IT simplification (for example,
no indices, no aggregates, and no redundancies) and instant insight in Finance.
Every application that will be part of SAP S/4HANA will
share the same design principles: a simple data model,
personalized and modern UX, and flexible deployment with
cloud, on-premise, and hybrid models. SAP S/4HANA is
indeed new, with a new code line and capabilities. However,
SAP S/4HANA keeps the same semantic model as its
predecessor, for ease of migration and rapid adoption.
