Description This is a multi-year Data Migration program to extract, transform and upload
the foundational, transactional and Contract data, from various legacy systems,
into a single Contracting solution [ICS]. The first phase went live in Feb 2014.
Phase 2 involves extracting, transforming and uploading foundational data for
DePuy Companies; Since there is no conversion involved for transactional and
contract process area, the scope is to just link/merge the DePuy system's
already converted transactional and contracts data and upload into ICS; This
phase involves migrating millions of sales lines as well as contract information
to the existing contracting system. The Cognos reporting portal will be reused
to provide reports for verification purposes; Phase-2 involves development, fix
defects , process change requests, Unit testing[TUT-1 and TUT-2], support
formal test cycles[Dry Run 1 through Dry Run 2], System test cycle[SIT], User
Acceptance test cycle[UAT], Production Dress Rehearsal[PDR] and Final
Cutover; The phase-2 project is expected to go live in Feb 2016 and Hyper care
support to start by March 2016.

Responsibilities • Work with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into
technical specifications for new Application using COGNOS
• Involving in development of DMR reports
• Fixing issues in existing reports
• Created complex Reports.
• Worked on Performance tuning of the Reports.
• Data Validation- Validating all the reports for correctness of the data
• Involved in republishing of packages using IBM Cognos Framework
manager.

As part of the conversion process, the program will source the data from these legacy systems and convert it to be loaded into the Model N system. The primary objective thereby is to migrate the data from the respective Operating Companies into Model N, to facilitate Contract Life Cycle Management activities.
