Moreover, there has been a concerted effort to converge countries reporting
standards. But despite this effort substantial differences in countries reporting
regulation and practices remain. This paper explores these differences and the
reasons why they exist as well as why they are likely to persist in the foreseeable
future. My analysis and comparison are conducted at a fairly high level to emphasise
that reporting regulation is a part of a country s broader institutional framework.
Throughout the paper, I give special emphasis to enforcement issues because of two

Uses Of Imagery In Truman Capote s In Cold Blood
The small population of Holcomb, Kansas was struck with tragedy when the Clutter
family was brutally murdered in their home by two unknown suspects. Capote wrote
the first ever non fiction novel, In Cold Blood. Truman Capote tells a timeline of
events as he learned them, from before, during, and after the killings of the Clutter
family by using imagery, foreshadowing, and pathos to continue the plot and to make
it more interesting to the reader.
One of the most noticeable rhetorical devices used throughout In Cold Blood was
Capote s use of imagery. An example of Imagery being used in this novel was
Capote s description of the weather at the time in Holcomb. Capote called apple

easterly wind rustled, without ripping loose, the last of the leaves on that the

In terms of the grizzly bear, its behavior is complex, but should never be mistaken as
mimicking human behavior. Craighead, Sumner, and Mitchell (1995) note that in
Yellowstone National Park, a prime laboratory for studying human grizzly
interactions, the relationship has been uneasy at best. They note that bears have a
concept of personal space and that a seemingly placid animal (male or female) can
become awesomely aggressive and attack instantaneously. (Craighead et al.149

known. That is the palm oil case of Sumatra, Indonesia. Palm oil is a substance

converted over 7,000 hectares of land to palm oil plantation and destroyed over 6,000
hectares of forests. Their unethical practice of deforestation in the SumatraJungle

GreenPeace, reported that, The palm oil sector is currently the greatest single driver
