1) The study analyzed records of 530 malaria cases in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh from 2008-2011 to examine the relationship between malaria incidence and weather factors like temperature, humidity, and rainfall.
2) Humidity and rainfall were found to have a statistically significant association with cases of uncomplicated malaria confirmed, severe malaria, and vivax malaria.
3) Linear regression models also showed relationships between malaria incidence and maximum temperature as well as humidity. The findings indicate that malaria transmission in the region has a seasonal pattern linked to fluctuations in weather.
