Sue Williams is a prominent Welsh artist who is currently a professor at Swansea College of Art. She was born in Cornwall in 1956 and works across multiple mediums including drawing, painting, fabric, photography and text. Her art explores complex human relationships and themes of sexuality, lust, jealousy and feminism. She aims to provoke emotional and political discussions with her work. The document then describes a project where children learned about Williams' style and biography and were inspired to create their own artworks combining different media to express their inner thoughts and desires. They aimed to show that womanhood represents both beauty and powerful creativity within society.

- 4. Sue still lives, works and teaches in Cardiff. She is also Professor of Fine Art in Swansea College of Art, University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is one of Wales’ leading contemporary female artists.

- 18. The children inspired and painted, following the color composition and shape of the artist in order to perceive and understand her better.
- 21. The children are received time to work on their imagination and creativity to think about what they might could present. So, separated in small teams of 3 to 4 children decided to carry out their tasks. They worked with a mix art forms of decoupage, collage and acrylic paints. As materials they used rice papers, table napkins and stuck them on canvas or wood surfaces. At the end, they fixed their final artworks with mount spray.

- 27. Their work actually are compositions of the mind. Pieces of imagination that redefine the central form, created their own space, through their thoughts, wills, secrets - mixed in space and time - compose and transform the desire of themselves (of their inner and outer world).
- 28. Finally, the art pieces created following the concept of how they want to be and how others want to see them. So, they tried to show that womanhood is not only beauty, but at the same time it is a powerful mind, a source of loving determination and creativity in a society, where women, even today, are trying to take their position as equals. Something that shouldn't even be discussed since it rightfully holds it from the very beginning of creation.
