Nanobit is famous for its interactive story games. In the beginning we created those games only in English and without support for any other language. There were many people who were not able to play them because they didn’t speak English and couldn’t understand anything. In this talk you will find out how we managed to translate our games and increase the number of our players more than twice.

Mightyverse is a marketplace for sharing language and cultural content across borders. It allows users to access short video phrases in their native language with translations to other languages. Content is organized into "PhrasePacks" focused on specific experiences and topics. The founders aim to partner with content providers and market phrasepacks virally to spread languages and bridge cultural divides. Their initial test product is a $0.99 PhrasePack teaching basic Japanese phrases for ordering sushi with English translations. The roadmap includes expanding the marketplace across more languages and devices and adding features like cross-language translations.

The team aims to complete the desktop prototype this summer and use shared elements to also develop the mobile game.
