- 4. Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. Col 3:5 Therefore, put to death the members of your earthly bodies from immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. Put to death (νεκροω nekroō): imperative, a command! We are new creatures in Christ (2 Cor 5:17), start living like it Sanctification!

- 7. Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. Col 3:5 Romans 6: know your position in Christ, and what He has done for you, then present yourself as His servant James 4:1-10: humble yourself; submit to God; flee from the Devil (and whatever evil makes you stumble), and draw near to God

- 11. … a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all. Colossians 3:11 No national distinctions: Greek and Jew No religious distinctions: circumcised and uncircumcised No cultural distinctions: barbarian and Scythian No economic distinctions: slave and freeman Christ is sufficient, and we are complete in Him!
