- SunEdison is a large global renewable energy company with over 2GW of solar power and 1GW of wind energy installed across 30 countries. - They needed a flexible sourcing platform to manage their growing 1.2GW pipeline in India which required agile project execution and lower operational costs. - Oracle Fusion Sourcing was implemented as it provided a standalone, out of the box cloud solution that supported co-existence with their Oracle EBS and allowed for supplier pre-qualification, evaluations, and real-time bidding to reduce spend. - The implementation went live in India in February 2016 and they plan to evaluate Oracle Cloud for additional procurement modules.
