With the correct belief, refrain from Nifaq,
love of this world, miserliness, and
monasticism, and strive with your wealth
and self. Establish a just government just
like the prophets of the past, in order to
establish justice and equity.
Invitation to Tawhid, eman through Allah's
attributes. Repetitive calls for nifaq. The
greatness being at forefront of Jihad.

Reward of those who do Nifaq(charity)
Invitation to be in forefront.

Tazkiyah - ‫سورۃ‬
‫الحدید‬
The obstacle to perfect faith is ignorance of
Allah's attributes.
The obstacle to Nifaq is the love of the world
and miserliness.
The obstacle to Jihad is monasticism.

‫بحات‬‫س‬‫م‬
 Musabihat ---- Al Isra, Hadid, Hashr, Saf, Juma’a, Taghabun, Al A’ala --- Starts with
verse proclaiming the purity of Allah(SWT), extoling His glorification.
 Merits of Surah --- Rasolallah(SAW) recite Musabihat before sleeping.

“ is for past and ” “
َ
ُ‫ح‬ِّ‫ب‬َ‫س‬ُ‫ي‬ for present and future.
 Everything in this universe glorifies Allah(Tasbeeh)-to complete its purpose of creation
 َُ‫م‬‫ي‬ِّ‫ك‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫َال‬ُ‫يز‬ ِّ‫ز‬َ‫ع‬ْ‫ال‬ --- Repetition of these two Attributes in these surahs, At the human level,
there is an abuse of power with absolute authoritarianism, but Allah Subhanahu wa
Ta'ala balances his absolute authority with His wisdom.
Mu'adh (bin Jabal) (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah held my
hand and said, "O Mu'adh, By Allah, I love you and advise you not to miss supplicating after
every Salat (prayer) saying: 'Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika, wa husni 'ibadatika,'
(O Allah, help me remember You, expressing gratitude to You and worship You in the best
manner)".[Abu Dawud and An- Nasa'i].

 Ayah 3 --- Remedy for diabolical whisperings
 What enters Earth and Sky and what comes out of them?
 َْ‫م‬ُ‫ت‬‫ن‬ُ‫ك‬َ‫ا‬َ‫م‬ََ‫ْن‬‫ي‬َ‫َأ‬ْ‫م‬ُ‫ك‬َ‫ع‬َ‫م‬َ َ‫و‬ُ‫ه‬ َ‫و‬ --- Scary, Allah is aware of all the movements, words and deeds
 Demand with the believers to spend in the way of Allah -- Demand from the
believers to believe.

Ruku No 1 (Ayah 1-10)

 Conscious covenant of obedience to Allah and His messenger(SAW) --- Listening
and obeying.
 Spending in the struggle to establish deen --- Spending wealth of Allah in His way
 Spending during hard times is more superior than spending during good times.
 The Qur'an is the source of true faith.
 ٌَ‫م‬‫ي‬ ِّ‫ح‬َّ‫َر‬ ٌ‫وف‬ُ‫ء‬ َ‫ر‬َ‫ل‬ ---- The blessings of the Qur'an and the requirements of faith(Spending
both wealth and life
Mutarrif reported Rasolallah SAW said: The son of
Adam claims: My wealth, my wealth. And he (the Holy
Prophet) said: O son of Adam. is there anything as your
belonging except that which you consumed, which you
utilized, or which you wore and then it was worn out or
you gave as charity and sent it forward?(Muslim)

 ‫ا‬ً‫ن‬َ‫س‬َ‫ح‬َ‫ا‬ً‫ض‬ ۡ
‫ر‬َ‫ق‬ ----- Everything which is spend to seek Allah’s pleasure according to His
orders and recommendations.
 Ten things that makes the charity preeminent ---- Lawful earnings, no defect in it,
time of dearth, giving preference to others want than your own, donate secretly, no
showoff, do not impose after giving donation, don’t think low of your giving, giving
the best and that which you love, never think after donation that you have done
enough, or you are done.
Infaq = Wealth + Time + skills + intelligence

 Rewards of Sadqah --- manifold Here plus reward of Here after.
 Response of Sahabah after revelation of this Ayah ---- Their Sadqat
 Believers will be rewarded Light on the Day of Resurrection - Truthfulness of belief,
piety of character & conduct will convert into Light - Light of righteous deeds.
 Fitna for Hypocrites --- Extreme love for wealth and offspring, Timeserving,
opportunistic approach, temptations, false expectations, illusions, doubts --- Darkness
on the Day of Judgment
10 Benefits of Sadaqah
1. Charity will be a shadow on the Day of Resurrection and will save its giver from the Fire.
2. Charity cools the wrath of God Almighty and cools the heat of the grave.
3. Charity is the source of self-purification and enhances virtues.
4. Charity is the cause of forgiveness of sins and atonement for evil deeds.
5. Charity is the cause of the prayers of the angels.
6. The giver of charity is promised a great reward.
7. Charity is a means of accepting prayers and getting them out of trouble.
8. Charity removes calamity.
9. Charity is the cause of increase in age and wealth.
10. Charity prevents burning, drowning, theft and evil death.

 Quran, Heart humbles through remembrance of Allah --- hearts to be soft, to be
receptive to advice, to be obedient ---- Signs of the day of Judgment, First thing
that will be taken from the people will be their humility or humbleness.

 Let us ask ourselves to our conscious whether the time has not yet come in our
lives for us to bow before Allah and the commands of the Qur'an.
 The people who do Infaq will become Siddiq and Shaheed --- Sadqah is giving
proof of truthfulness of one’s belief and sincerity.
When deciding in the matter of religion or striving for religion, a person
always delays. First, I have do this, then I have do that, only then I will
correct my way of life! The kids are small right now! Just have to wait till
the education of my children Let the kids get married then! …….......

 Life of This world --- merely a sport, diversion, adornment & an object of our boasting
with one another, & a rivalry in the multiplication of riches and children – Competition
 Comparison of Human life and Life of vegetation --- Looking delightfully towards the
tilth, expectations & increase of greed.
 Vie with one another in seeking to attain our Lord's forgiveness and Paradise --
Compete and excel
 Factors affecting Mankind are duly measured & destined-Wisdom behind distribution

 Don’t make your destiny excuse for your misdemeanors -- Adopt attitude of
patience and tolerance.
 Wealth become test and trial --- Arrogance, degrading others, self admiration
--- Show off, greediness, niggardliness ---- َ
ُ‫د‬‫ي‬ِّ‫م‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫َال‬ُّ‫ي‬ِّ‫ن‬َ‫غ‬ْ‫ال‬
 Niggardliness and its germs --- Various aspects of Niggardliness in our lives
 Things to control corruption and essence of Prophetic mission ---- Signs, Book,
Mizan and Iron ---- ٌَ‫يز‬ ِّ
‫ز‬َ‫ع‬ٌَّ‫ي‬ِّ‫و‬َ‫ق‬

 Many of the nations of the Prophets were rebellious.
 Monasticism --- Rahbaniyat --- Bida’ah --- Bida’ah is always practiced as a virtue.
 Fulfill the demands of Iman ---- Fear of Allah and believe in His messenger --- Allah
will grant His mercy, Light and Forgiveness ---- ٌَ‫م‬‫ي‬ ِّ‫ح‬َّ‫َر‬ٌ‫ور‬ُ‫ف‬َ‫غ‬
 Light for Here and Hereafter

O Allah, none can withhold what You have given, and none can
give what You have withheld, and no wealth or fortune can benefit
anyone for from You comes all wealth and fortune .(Muslim)

Action Items Ruku 1-4
 Sacrificing wealth in the way of --- Spending wealth for the sake of Allah.
 Melting the heart with the remembrance of Allah --- Give Goodly loan to
acquire light on the Day of Resurrection
 The race to lead in virtues --- striving to attain forgiveness & attain Paradise
 The Reality of Prophethood --- Constant efforts and prayers for piety
