This document summarizes a study on the geometric analysis of late Gothic architecture in Sardinia. It focuses on analyzing Gothic church portals from the 15th-17th centuries. The author conducted surveys of 136 buildings with Gothic characteristics, identifying 73 with late Gothic or Renaissance portals. Common portal types included pointed arch, round arch, and architraved. The study analyzed two portals in detail - San Giorgio in Sestu and Sant'Andrea in Ula Tirso - examining their dimensions, proportions, and construction materials. Geometric analysis found similarities in basic structure but differences in decorative elements and proportions. The methodology combined dimensional measurement, graphical analysis, and study of proportional relationships.
