wherein the host receives the guest with goodwill.

parks, transportation , cruise line and additional fields
within the tourism industry.

an event, your needs are attended to buy people
specializing in hospitality and tourism.

• Eco tourism is also called green tourism
• Its objective to preserve the nature and approach to
rare species
• Its support the protection of natural areas by
generating economic benefits for host communities
and organisations with conservation purposes

• It tends to focus on the indigenous people of an area and
their traditional customs, arts, crafts, ceremonies,
architecture, religion and lifestyles
• It establishes and reinforces identity and helps to build
image
• Travellers can live in the traditions and learn the cultures
of the respective countries that they are visiting
E- Tourism
•Also known as travel technology or e-travel
•It is a research area in which the adoption of
information
and communication technology (ICT) by tourists and
businesses transforms the processes and the value
chains in the tourism industry

• It includes health tourism
• Health tourism is also known as medical tourism, or
health care traveller
• It basically refers to people travelling abroad to
obtain medical treatment
• Medical tourism is highly promoted by big corporate
hospitals in developing countries
• They provide high quality medical services at cheaper
prices to patient from industrialized nation

• Also known as Diaspora tourism
• Defined as travelling to experience
the places, artifacts and activities
that authentically represent the
stories and people of the past

Mice Tourism
 Mice stands for a meeting, incentive, conventions
and exhibition which is the type of event in
tourism used by large group of company
 There are various travel management companies
like international travel house that provides
travel services of mice
Accessible Tourism
 It enables people with access requirements,
including mobility, vision, hearing and cognitive
dimensions of access, to function independently
and with equity and dignity through the delivery of
universally designed tourism products, services
and environments.
 It is inclusive of all people including those
travelling with children in prams, people with
disabilities and seniors
Low carbon Tourism
 It includes any form of tourism with a low energy
intensity, ensuring carbon dioxide emissions
produced by transport, accommodation and
activities are kept minimum.
 It is associated with rail-or coach based transport
short to medium halt distances domestic tourism
 This is an emerging topic and linked to the term low
carbon future which humanity will need to aim by
mid century to avoid dangerous climate change

• It is also known as

• It is an act of travelling

overseas to visit
