Curriculum & Teaching Learning Process
Curriculum is the Crux of whole Education process. Without Curriculum, we can
not conceive any Educational endeavor. In literal sense it is a pathway towards a
goal.
 Curriculum is Prescribed by the Affiliating University i.e., Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University Ananthapur (JNTUA), Ananthapuramu.
 As per the academic regulations (R-15) every student has to put in a minimum
aggregate attendance of 75%.
 Condonation shall be granted for shortage up to 10%, on genuine medical
reasons.
 Students, not fulfilling the above requirements have to repeat that semester
again.
 The minimum number of working weeks in a semester shall be 16, excluding
examinations, holidays and preparation holidays.

Theory Subject
100 marks (Internal – 30 marks and External – 70 marks)
Practical Subject
Comprehensive Viva-Voce : 50 marks
Technical Seminar : 50 marks
Project work : 200 marks (Internal – 60 marks and External – 140 marks)
Audit Courses : 30 marks ( No credits but mandatory)
Internal Examinations:
Two Mid term Examinations - (Each midterm examination consists of objective paper for 10 marks and
subjective paper for 20 marks.)
Objective paper shall be set for maximum of 20 bits for 10 marks.
Subjective paper shall contain 5 questions of which student has to answer 3 questions evaluated* for 20
marks.
Final Internal marks shall be arrived at by considering the marks secured by the student in both the mid
examinations with 80% weightage to the better mid exam and 20% to the other.

Faculty Induction Program This has improved the pedagogical skills of the faculty.   • 16. 16 Curriculum & Teaching Learning Process Curriculum is the Crux of whole Education process. Without Curriculum, we can not conceive any Educational endeavor. In literal sense it is a pathway towards a goal.  Curriculum is Prescribed by the Affiliating University i.e., Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Ananthapur (JNTUA), Ananthapuramu.  As per the academic regulations (R-15) every student has to put in a minimum aggregate attendance of 75%.  Condonation shall be granted for shortage up to 10%, on genuine medical reasons.  Students, not fulfilling the above requirements have to repeat that semester again.  The minimum number of working weeks in a semester shall be 16, excluding examinations, holidays and preparation holidays. 10/06/2022
  • 17. 17 Distribution and Weightage of Marks (R-15 Regulations) Theory Subject 100 marks (Internal – 30 marks and External – 70 marks) Practical Subject Comprehensive Viva-Voce : 50 marks Technical Seminar : 50 marks Project work : 200 marks (Internal – 60 marks and External – 140 marks) Audit Courses : 30 marks ( No credits but mandatory) Internal Examinations: Two Mid term Examinations - (Each midterm examination consists of objective paper for 10 marks and subjective paper for 20 marks.) Objective paper shall be set for maximum of 20 bits for 10 marks. Subjective paper shall contain 5 questions of which student has to answer 3 questions evaluated* for 20 marks. Final Internal marks shall be arrived at by considering the marks secured by the student in both the mid examinations with 80% weightage to the better mid exam and 20% to the other.
