In October 2012, a survey conducted by the School Improvement Network found that 48% of educators allow students to use their own technology devices in the classroom, particularly in states like Iowa, Idaho, and Minnesota. The majority of educators believe that integrating technology improves student performance and attendance, with 80% of those allowing technology reporting positive impacts. Additionally, over a third of educators communicate with students via email, with 75% indicating it enhances homework submission rates.
