of the multisite setup

Separate database for ONLY the shared tables

•  Content can sometimes be tough to share across sites. We
tend to have a “central” content server to get around this
issue.

•  Takes more time to setup the servers.

•  Can get stressful on a single server architecture if you have
lots of sites.

•  Updating core and contributed modules means running
update.php for each site. Enter Drush!

We tend to have a “central” content server to get around this issue. •  Takes more time to setup the servers. •  Can get stressful on a single server architecture if you have lots of sites. •  Updating core and contributed modules means running update.php for each site.
