This document discusses how climate change will impact global coffee production. It finds that the coffee belt is warming by over 2°C which could reduce suitable coffee growing areas. Higher temperatures and more extreme weather events will negatively impact yields, particularly in Brazil. Future Arabica suitability is projected to decline substantially in some countries by 2050. Climate change is expected to increase price and production variability going forward, posing challenges for the global coffee trade and farmers' livelihoods.
