- 2. • Why public sector blockchain network was founded? • A lot of interest and questions • No real picture about state of knowledge in public sector • We did research to find out what kind of expertise we have in government sector • Find out maturity and objectives of agencies in short and long term • To found out if there’s already blockchain based solutions in product at offices • What are the plans in short and long term • Found out about 60 use cases • We just launched it, we did not have any kind induct letters • New way to be more agile and to break silos in government sector • No examples from anywhere else in the world in, wanted to give a try…. - 3. • Network’s first priority was to develop the public administration's knowledge of blockchain technologies • By creating presentations from different fields • Creating cross-organizational virtual workspace • Hosting network meetings once in month • Showing live and concrete demos • Bringing together the experts who work with in the field in different sides of government • Help agencies to understand the possibilities presented by blockchain technology • Support public administration offices to cross-organizational collaboration • Keep up to date what happens in agencies • Get up to date information what happens in most interesting projects all around the world • Help to to understand and create culture of experimentation in long term • Help to take first steps to concrete actions OBJECTIVES
- 4. • We have had a lot of good presentations to develop the public administration's knowledge of blockchain • Different themes: What is Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Self-sovereign identitety, Cybersecurity • Virtual workspace in use – People can share information, articles and we also have Q&A channel • Bringing together the experts who work in the field • Network has grown and at this point we have over 40 different experts from different sides of government • Agencies included at this point: • Concrete steps • Demonstration on the installation of a blockchain-based experimental platform • Showcase of a payroll demo that featured on person’s employment contract as a smart contract in an Ethereum blockchain • Demo also featured an example of how their salary and salary-related expenses can be paid • Use case -workshop WHAT HAVE WE DONE SO FAR?
