A Population Increasingly At Risk • The purpose and mission of The Visiting Church is to come alongside these often forgotten communities to Adopt, Sheppard & Evangelize these brothers and sisters so they don’t become spiritual orphans in our local church neighborhoods. • But rather, that their faith is strengthened empowered and revitalized in the name of Jesus. For those who don’t already have a saving relationship with Christ and whose souls are at eternal risk, our prayer is that the Lord softens hearts and opens doors for grace to enter in, for the word of God to come alive and save souls on the doorstep of life. - 5. Meeting A Local Need…And Reaching Beyond • Unfortunately, availability and access to relevant and consistent spiritual enrichment is scarce in many of these communities. The Visiting Church fills this void and meets this need with consistent and intentional experiences that nurture faith and share hope during a very difficult season in life. • God’s power and spirit is stoking fires of revival and working through TVC. This presence not only blesses the residents but has a significant impact on their families, caregivers and community employees.
