This document discusses the integration of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) with cloud computing to enhance data collection and sharing in the Internet of Things (IoT) framework. It proposes a flexible architecture using REST-based web services for interoperability across various application domains, such as e-health and smart homes, and outlines the design and implementation of a prototype using XBee modules for real-time monitoring. The study highlights the advantages of this integration, including reduced costs, improved data access, and enhanced user notifications when monitoring data exceed specified values.
