1. Pre-Treatment

 The water is collected.
 Chemicals are added in order to
precipitate solids from the
wastewater
 A flotation removes flocculated
solids.
 If needed, the water is neutralized.
2. Biological Stage

 Biological wastewater treatment
with the TFR Bioreactor.
 Followed by indirect discharge
3. Post-Treatment

 Excess sludge from the reactors
and storage tanks will be
forwarded to post-treatment.
 The sludge will be sedimented and
subsequently dewatered in the
filter press.
The installed system is large enough for
a small town with a population of 5,000
and, thanks to the TFR technology from
the environmental technology
specialists from Dresden, uses up to 45
per cent less energy than other
systems of a similar size.
