- 6. 2016 marca os 400 anos da morte do poeta, escritor e dramaturgo inglês, cuja obra ainda mantém atualidade e interesse. Com personagens marcados pela humanidade, imperfeições e dúvidas, atrai leitores de todas as épocas. Entre 1590 e 1613, Shakespeare escreveu 37 peças (comédias, dramas histó- ricos e tragédias) e colaborou em muitas outras.
- 7. A Biblioteca Central tem em seu acervo as obras completas de teatro, no original e em português, poesias, algumas adaptações, além de biografias e estudos sobre sua obra. Nesta exposição apresentamos obras dos séculos XIX e XX, originais e facsímiles.
