Christmas Eve
We celebrate Chrismas Eve on the twenty-
fourth of December from seven pm until
midnight . For Chrismas Eve,we eat turkey
foie gras, salmon, oysters, snails and we
decorate our house with a Christmas
tree,Christmas balls, garlands and Christmas
wreaths .
In Estelle’s family, they go to church for the
midnight mass but in Margot’s and Manon’s
family they don’t. We open presents at
midnight or the next day.

Christmas DayChristmas day is on December 25th. On Christmas day,
we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, in the Christian religion.
During the Christmas meal, we eat salmon, foie gras with fig,
seafood (oysters, langoustine…), we eat the yule log for dessert.

of the world, under the Christmas tree.

party is celebrated with friends or family.
At midnight, people usually kiss each
other under the mistletoe .

Epiphany
The Twelfth night is a public holiday, once
Christian. It celebrates the Messiah
receiving the royal image. It’s on the 6th
January. We eat a Twelfth night cake. It
has got a charm in it. The person who
finds this charm is the king. In Paris,
bakers cook this cake for the president.
These cakes haven’t got charms because
the president can’t be king.Written by
