- 7. Say Hello to WordPress 3.0 WordPress 3.0 gives site administrators the ability to manage multpile sites (or blogs) from one WordPress Installation

- 10. Multi Site vs WPMU Before WordPress version 3.0 there was a seperate WordPress project called WordPress multi user or WordPress µ
- 11. This feature gives you the ability to have many blogs (or sites) from a single installation
- 12. With a Domain Mapping plug-in you can assign a Fully Qualified Top Level Domain to a sub site
- 13. Why use WPMU or Multi Site? Maintain hundreds of blogs or sites from one installation saves time on upgrades
- 14. Plug-ins and themes are stored in central location reducing upgrade and maintenance time and cost
- 15. No need for seperate hosting accounts for individual sites
