  • #2: Assalamolikom. good morning. hope we enjoyed the other groups presentations. I am………....representing the group-d. The name of our presentation is world political region.so let see the slide for further details…
  • #3: Political region is a combination of two word.one is politics and other is region. Politics is derived from the Greek word- “Polis”- that means a city state. According to Franklin D. Roosevelt “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way”. There is another definition shown on the slide. where mr. breglee said that……. Now when we combined this two word we find that “A political region is a geographic area based on political units such as independent states and international groupings”. Now I think we all understand what is political region? So lets move to next slide
  • #4: Characteristics… All political region are based on some common features…. Political units- means unity of countries in a region Political identity-political system or type will be same In a region all courtiers show More or less same economic system They must have an aggremnets for their mutual benefit.
  • #6: Now political system. Political system is the legitimate order maintaining or transforming system in society. In the world there is four kind of political system
  • #7: Democracy is a common political system in world. where people hold political power. Democracy is a government of the people by the people and for the people-abram linkon Our country is a nice example of it. Monocracy(monarki) is political system where all political power holds by a queen or king. after their dead their child will hold the power. Ex. Saudi Arabia Dictatorship: one man or group of people hold the power. Right now this kind of political system hard to find. Communism: In this government and economic system, nearly all political power and means of production are held by the government in the name of all the people.
  • #8: This map shows us the political system of the world.
  • #9: Developing and growing the region on the basis of same culture, political unity and other culture.
  • #11: North American region is so powerful region compare to others due to their military, high technology, established economic condition and powerful foreign department. There is currency named “amero”are exist among the north American region like euro in Europe but not so popular like euro. There is corridor established among the north American region which is named “nafta”
  • #12: Here we can see the map of north American region which is basically based on Canada, USA and Greenland
  • #13: South American region is also known as Latin America.it was divided by Columbus in 1492 from north America.it is not so much developed and economically powerful like north America but developing in present. Now central America, which is Geographically and politically they differ from north and south America. But we named central America and south America as a one region due to their same climate and more or less same economy.

  • #15: This region basically based on three countries such as japan,north and south korea. Government system of japan is Parliamentary and Korea is Republic Both of them are elected by the people’s vote. but there is some different in the north korea government system. They both are politically strong and closed relationship exist between them. They much have economic similarities

  • #17: Formerly known as union of soviet socialist republic. They have Parliamentary government system They are politically and economically strong compare to Europe and north America region. They have union which is known as Russian federation.
  • #19: Europe is one of the powerful region in the world right now. Most of them ruled parliamentary government. They have Strong economic and political relationship among their countries They have so many organization such as: nato, commonwealth of independent states and council of Europe. They have well established mutual respect among their nations.

  • #21: Australia and Oceania region countries are basically based on parliamentary government. They are political strong and economically developed. After the coral battle 1942 they form a region which is named pacific island forum. All the countries of Oceania agreed to fight as a agency against climatic change
  • #22: This map show us the state of Australia & Oceania region
  • #23: Middle east region are geographically religious based.in past their political system was dictatorship. But in present all follow the democracy type of political system They politically and economically strong because of their natural resource.
  • #25: It is the second largest continent of the world. African country have parliamentary government. And they are Underdeveloped They have enough natural resources but they are politically unstable and economically poor due to their unstable government. There is strong networking among the countries for their economic benefits and sovereignty they form African Union. The African union consist of all African countries except morocco.. The objectives of the AU are: To achieve greater unity and solidarity between the African countries and the people of Africa. To defend the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of its Member States. To accelerate the political and socio-economic integration of the continent. To promote peace, security, and stability on the continent. To promote democratic principles and institutions, popular participation and good governance.
  • #26: This is the political map of African region This map show us the countries of African region This map also shows the countries which not signed to African Union and signed.
  • #27: Most of the countries of South and Southeast Asia is democratic In south Asia. All countries are not highly developed except India .all countries ruled by democratic government. politically and culturally and economically they have similar characteristics. They form many organization such as : Association of Southeast Asian Nations, South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation for their mutual benefits. The principles of SAARC are as follows Respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, political equality and independence of all members states Non-interference in the internal matters is one of its objectives Cooperation for mutual benefit. Objectives of SAARC to promote and strengthen selective self-reliance among the countries of South Asia; to contribute to mutual trust, understanding and appreciation of one another's problems; ASEAN Principles : Mutual respect for the independence, sovereignty, equality, territorial integrity, and national identity of all nations; The right of every State to lead its national existence free from external interference, subversion, or coercion; Non-interference in the internal affairs of one another; Settlement of differences or disputes by peaceful manner; Renunciation of the threat or use of force
