Yellowstone National Park is America's first national park located in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. It is home to Old Faithful geyser, which erupts approximately every 45 minutes for 1-5 minutes, as well as other geysers and hot springs. Yellowstone was established in 1872 to preserve its unique geology and wildlife, which includes grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. The park covers over 2 million acres and contains forests, lakes, rivers, and volcanic features formed by eruptions over 600,000 years ago.
