PROJECT INFORMATION - 2 - With this document we certify that Ádám Rahmi took part in a project called Fostering Gender Equality through Youth Empowerment and Gender Mainstreaming in Youth Work - FEMPOWER. It was a study visit. The project was organised by NICOLA New International Company of Live Arts, in cooperation with NICOLA ART, Armenian Progressive Youth, ALTERNATIVI INTERNATIONAL, NICOLA Italy, MOSTART, Danish Youth Team, Identities, NUH, ADVIT, Experimentaculo, Liga Dobrovolnogo Truda Molodezhi, Poland, Youth for the World, GEYC, INKLUZIVNI POKRET, AJ INTER, Society Initiatives Institute.. A study visit organised within Erasmus+ is a short study programme that offers a view on youth work or youth policy – strategies, projects, or methods – in one country. Study visits focus on a concrete theme and mainly consist of meetings with different projects and organisations in the chosen country. Additionally, the study visits may include exchange of experience among the participants and support creation of partnership for further cooperation. Altogether, 36 people took part in the project. The overall aim and specific objectives of the project: To learn about gender equality issues by sharing and comparing the realities in the European Union and Neighboring Partner countries; To exchange experiences, best practices and knowledge between youth workers and their organizations on gender mainstreaming and women empowerment; To develop participants knowledge and understanding on various concepts related to gender and emphasize the importance of gender equality in youth work. Main contents and activities of the project: Through the participation in different scale of activities as discussions, presentations, field visits, participants exchanged their skills and experiences on gender equality, gender discrimination, gender violence and gender perspectives in different parts of Europe and learnt more about realities in Eastern Europe and Caucasus region.
