A hit and run collision occurred on September 25, 2010 at 8:12 PM where a 22-year-old female pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a passing vehicle in Takoma Park, MD. The suspect vehicle, possibly a 1994-1998 Chevy S-10 Blazer or pickup truck, fled the scene without stopping to help. Investigators are looking for a vehicle with damage to the windshield, hood, passenger side fender, or broken passenger side mirror that appears to be caused by striking a person.

Possible vehicle involved in a pedestrian collision

Possible damage to suspect vehicle


 Damage to windshield / cracked glass
 Dents on hood and/or passenger side fender
 Other damage that appears to be caused by object.
 Broken passenger side (right) mirror glass
 Any hairs, fibers, or clothing marks

Synopsis: On 09-25-2010 at approx. 8:12 pm, a 22 yr old female walking


along the roadway in the 800 block of Carroll Avenue near Piney Branch
Road in Takoma Park, MD, was struck by a passing motorist. The
pedestrian was critically injured in the collision. The striking vehicle left the
scene without stopping or rendering aid. The vehicle is possibly a 1994 - 98
Chevy S-10 Blazer or Pickup (or also the GMC equivalent).
