How to program using the string method:

To program 8 zones at a time, fill in a row with the corresponding zone types (2 digits per type,
found in Table 5) and enter these values as one long 16-digit string for location 1. This method can
be used for the remaining 56 zones by noting that location 2 references zones 9 to 16, location 3
references zones 17 to 24, …etc.

I.e. To program the defaulted zone types (Table 6) for the first 16 zones use the following:
[INSTALLER CODE] [*]

[1] [*] reference zones 1 - 8

[0102040404040404] [*]

[2] [*] reference zones 9 - 16

How to Program Stay Zones

Hold down the [3] key until the beep, then enter [ZONE NUMBER] [*] [#]
1. Select the required stay profile (See section 13.1).
2. Hold down the [3] key until the keypad buzzer sounds. The POWER LED will turn
off, indicating that the panel is in the Stay zone programming mode.
3. Entering a [ZONE NUMBER] will toggle the corresponding LED. For example, [2] [*]
will turn LED 2 on (if it was off) and off (if it was on). (Flashing zone LEDs indicate
zones that have been set as Buzz zones and therefore cannot be changed in this
menu – refer to section 14.1 on how to program buzz zones.).
4. Turn on the LEDs corresponding to the zones you need to be Stay zones. The zone
LEDs should now indicate only the zones that you require to be Stay zones
5. Press the [*] key to page through to see zones 17-32. If you press the [*] key
again, you will view zones 33-48. And press the [*] key again to see zones 49-64.

a stay zone.
